Why we exist

Built for researchers who care about details.

We sell research accessories — syringes, needles, vials, storage. Not peptides. Not medications. Not medical advice. Just the tools that make protocols repeatable.

Accessories, not medical devices

Purpose-built research accessories. The syringes, storage and prep tools that make careful work simple — chosen and quality-checked so you can focus on the protocol, not the guesswork.

Discreet packaging, every order

Plain brown box, no medical labeling. What you order is between you and us.

EU-shipped, EU-compliant

Shipped from Sweden. OSS-registered for EU VAT. 14-day return right.

ISO 13485-manufactured, CE marked

Same medical-grade syringes you'd get at a pharmacy — manufactured under ISO 13485 quality systems and CE-marked from the factory. We sell them as research accessories.

Frequently asked

Everything researchers ask before ordering.

Twelve essential questions about research peptides, syringe selection, reconstitution, injection technique, and EU compliance. Full guides linked in each answer.

01 · Compliance & safety
Are peptides safe to research with?
Most research peptides have well-documented safety profiles when handled with sterile technique — proper reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, sterile single-use syringes, refrigerated storage of reconstituted vials, and disposal of needles in CE-marked sharps containers. Risk factors are almost always handling-related, not the compounds themselves. Specific safety profiles vary per peptide (BPC-157, sermorelin, ipamorelin, GHK-Cu, semax, etc.) — see our peptide safety guidefor compound-by-compound data on stability, contamination risk, and handling protocols.
Are peptides legal to research with in the EU?
Research peptides are generally legal to purchase and possess for laboratory and personal research purposes across the EU. Regulations vary per compound and jurisdiction — GLP-1 analogs like semaglutide and tirzepatide are scheduled as prescription medicines, others (BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu) are unregulated research chemicals. Check your local rules. We sell research accessories, not peptides.Full breakdown by country and compound in our EU peptide legality guide.
Where can I buy research syringes in the EU?
Right here. ThePeptideKit ships from Stockholm to all EU member states with same-day dispatch on orders before 14:00 CET. All syringes are CE-marked and ISO 13485-manufactured (ReMed and partner factories). No prescription required — we sell them as research accessories. 02 · Products & gauge selection
Which needle gauge should I use? 29G, 30G, 31G, or 32G?
31G × 6mmis the gold standard for low-volume subcutaneous research — finest gauge available in standalone insulin syringe format, lowest tissue resistance, minimal scar tissue over time. 30Gfor thicker reconstituted reagents or if 31G feels too fine to draw quickly. 32Gexists only as a pen needle (not standalone syringes) and pairs with insulin pen devices. 29G is mostly phased out — too thick for modern research applications. Full gauge comparison →
How do I read an insulin syringe?
Insulin syringes use the U-100 scale: 100 units = 1 ml. So on a 0.5ml U-100 syringe, each unit mark = 0.01ml. 10 units = 0.1ml, 30 units = 0.3ml, 50 units = 0.5ml (full barrel). For research with reconstituted peptides, you can think in either ml (for concentration math) or units (when reading the syringe at draw time). Use our reconstitution calculatorto convert dose mg → ml → units automatically.
Are these the same syringes a pharmacy would dispense?
Yes — physically identical. Our 31G PRO syringes come from ReMed's factory, the same supplier producing medical-grade syringes for EU pharmacies. ISO 13485 quality system, CE marked from the factory, latex-free, sterile single-use. The only difference is the channel: pharmacies dispense them as prescribed medical devices, we sell them as research accessories at significantly lower per-unit cost.
03 · Reconstitution & injection
How do I reconstitute peptides correctly?
Two steps: (1) draw bacteriostatic water with a 3ml Luer Lock + 18G draw needle, (2) inject slowly down the side of the lyophilized vial (never directly onto the powder — it denatures the peptide). Swirl gently, never shake. For exact dose volumes, use our free reconstitution calculator— 26 peptide presets, instant unit-to-volume conversion. Full step-by-step in our reconstitution guide.
How do I inject peptides safely?
Subcutaneous injection technique: clean injection site with alcohol swab, pinch skin between thumb and forefinger, insert 31G needle at 45–90° angle (depending on body fat layer), depress plunger slowly over 3–5 seconds, hold for 2 seconds, withdraw, and dispose immediately into a sharps container. Rotate injection sites (abdomen, outer thighs, upper buttocks) to prevent lipoatrophy. Never reuse needles. Full visual breakdown in our injection technique guide.
What is bacteriostatic water and why do I need it?
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added as a preservative — it lets you store reconstituted peptides safely for up to 28 days in the fridge without bacterial contamination. Sterile water (no preservative) only allows ~24-hour usability after reconstitution. Always use bacteriostatic water for multi-dose research vials. We don't sell BAC water in the EU (regulatory restriction — pharmacy licensing required) but stock all the syringes, draw needles, and storage you need around it. Full guide: bacteriostatic water →
04 · Storage, disposal & shipping
How long do reconstituted peptides last in the fridge?
Most reconstituted peptides remain stable for 28 days refrigerated(2–8°C) when reconstituted with bacteriostatic water. Some are stable longer (BPC-157 up to 6 weeks), others shorter (sermorelin ~21 days). Lyophilized (unreconstituted) peptides last 24+ months at -20°C. Light, heat, and freeze-thaw cycles all degrade peptides — store in opaque vial cases (we sell the Pro Vial Case) and avoid temperature fluctuations. Full degradation timeline per peptide in our storage guide.
How do I dispose of used syringes safely?
Use a CE-marked sharps container — we sell the DMS-T1B 2.0Lwith snap-lock lid (white, plain, unbranded). When full, drop at any EU pharmacy or hazardous waste facility. Every EU country accepts sharps for free — no questions asked.Never put used syringes in regular trash — it's illegal under EU waste directive 2008/98/EC and creates injury risk for waste handlers.
Is shipping discreet?
Yes. Every order ships in a plain brown boxwith no external branding, no product imagery, no description. The shipping label lists "Nordic Research Accessories AB" — neutral company name, no indication of contents. Safe for shared addresses, university dorms, lab settings, and standard mailboxes. PostNord tracking on every EU order. See shipping & delivery detailsfor full rates and timing.
